Antonino Piscitello Ceramiche is a long-established company, founded in Santo Stefano di Camastra (Sicily) in 1683, a small town located in the western area of Sicily also known as ''Il paese delle ceramiche'' (The ceramics town).

 
Antonio Piscitello, with his family is the only family of ceramic producer active for over 326 years in the land of Sicily. 

Indeed, the history of the Piscitellos, has its roots in Naples, which in the 17th century represented one of the most prestigious center of ceramic tiles production of the Kingdom. During that period, the Piscitello's family established one of the most significant company of majolica tiles in the land of Sicily, and then then in Bourbon Kingdom.

Antonino in one of the most famous and recognized Italian Ceramic's Maestro, an award-winning artist who has collected great success in fairs and exhibitions in Italy as well as in London, Munich, Milan, Florence, Paris, New York and Chicago. In 2006, Antonino Piscitello was declared a "Living Human Treasure" and has been entered in the “Intangible Cultural Heritage” list of UNESCO in Sicily.

Today the company is an icon of Italian Mediterranean style that features handcrafted ceramics with bold color accents and unique patterns. The cobalt-blue flower with three petals is one of the leitmotifs that distinguishes their tableware and artistic pottery collections all over the world.
